With the approval of the city commission, the neighborhood park requirement for a new development may be fulfilled through an equivalent contribution for improvements to an existing or proposed neighborhood park outside of the development, provided the park is within a quarter mile of the development and will be conveniently accessible for residents within the development and provided the level of service standard for neighborhood parks is met in the area. Sidewalks shall be a minimum of five (5) feet wide in residential areas and eight (8) feet wide in mixed use and non-residential districts. a. The minimum radii of curves shall be as shown in Table 23-303B. a. Type: Undeveloped Land, Lakefront, Waterfront. a. Existing parking areas serving nonconforming uses in residential districts shall not be expanded unless a special permit is granted. All uses covered by this subsection shall conform to the minimum landscaping requirements hereinafter provided, save and except areas which are used for parking or other vehicular uses but which are located under or within buildings.
